Enterprises have invested heavily in SaaS systems over the last two decades, and each of those systems reflects a self-contained view of the world. Salesforce models customers and pipelines one way; Darwinbox models employees and workflows another; SAP or PeopleSoft interpret operations in a completely different manner. These tools were built to optimize their own domains, not to form a coherent whole.

This creates a predictable problem: when enterprises attempt to build AI on top of these systems, the first challenge is not modeling or inference—it is understanding. AI cannot reason about data it cannot contextualize, and today, most enterprise data is scattered across platforms that were never designed to share semantics with one another.

This is why so much AI work begins with long integration cycles. Teams extract tables, map fields, rebuild relationships, and assemble semantic layers by hand. It is slow, fragile, and repetitive. Even worse, every SaaS tool evolves independently, which means integrations must be maintained continuously. The result is that enterprises spend more time stitching systems together than generating intelligence from them.

There is a simpler path: instead of making every SaaS system compatible with every other, introduce an intelligent layer that can interpret each system natively.
